The American Progressive Bag Alliance will present to the group about its latest efforts to seek statewide uniformity of regulations related to food, beverage, and merchandise containers.  The APBA has been successful in a number of states in requiring any regulation of ‘auxiliary’ containers be done at the state level rather than the local level.  However, activists continue to push city councils and county boards to implement bans, taxes and fees across the country.  This session will provide updates on APBA’s efforts and ways to engage.
